Deepcoin fees: trading, funding and withdrawal costs
Deepcoin fees include trading commissions, withdrawal charges and funding transfers between perpetual position holders. A trade's product, maker or taker execution and account tier affect its commission. Funding on Deepcoin perpetual contracts equals position value multiplied by the settlement's funding rate. Contract denomination determines the payment asset, while rate limits and settlement timing affect the final debit or credit.
- Payment direction
- A positive funding rate makes longs pay shorts; a negative rate makes shorts pay longs.
- Payment asset
- USDT Perpetual Pro funding uses USDT, while the documented inverse BTCUSD calculation expresses position value and funding in BTC.
- Settlement schedule
- Deepcoin generally settles every eight hours, at 00:00, 08:00 and 16:00 (UTC+8). Volatile pairs may use intervals of one, two or four hours.
- Trading commissions and funding transfers
- Deepcoin settles these transfers between traders without taking a commission on the funding payments. Trading commissions apply separately to filled spot and perpetual orders. A maker fill comes from an order resting on the book; a taker fill matches existing orders. A limit order that fills immediately pays the taker rate. The Fee Introduction guide quotes 0.1% for spot makers and takers and 0.02% maker / 0.06% taker for USDT and inverse perpetual contracts. Trading rates vary by product and user level; Deepcoin's account fee-rate service returns the current account's applicable maker and taker rates.
Trading commissions and funding bases
USDT perpetual commissions use filled coin quantity times execution price times the applicable rate, producing a USDT fee. For inverse BTCUSD trades, divide the contracts' USD face value by execution price, then multiply by the rate. This produces a BTC fee. Spot buy fees are in the purchased coin: filled coin quantity times the rate. Spot sell fees are in the quote currency: execution price times filled quantity times the rate. Position value measures exposure at the latest mark price. The funding formula uses that value as its base, independently of the margin you post.
- USDT Perpetual Pro contracts
-
Position value in USDT:
coin_quantity * mark_price. When quantity appears as contracts, the equivalent formula iscontract_quantity * contract_size * mark_price. Contract size supplies the coin amount per contract. - Inverse BTCUSD contracts
-
Position value in BTC:
contract_quantity * contract_size_usd / mark_price_usd_per_btc. Dividing the USD face value by the BTCUSD mark price converts the funding base into BTC.
Apply the funding rate to the position value in its settlement currency, expressing the percentage as a decimal. The rate's sign identifies the paying side; its absolute value determines the transfer amount for that position value.
How the funding rate develops
Deepcoin's Introduction to Funding Fees, updated December 29, 2025, describes the premium-and-interest calculation and its adjustable limits.
| Calculation stage | Inputs, result and applicable limits |
|---|---|
| Measure the market premium |
Compare the best-bid/best-ask midpoint with the spot index:
premium = ((best_bid + best_ask) / 2 - index_price) / index_price
. Deepcoin builds the index from weighted prices across multiple spot exchanges.
|
| Weight the observations | Deepcoin samples the premium every minute and gives later samples greater weight within the funding interval. An eight-hour interval contains 480 observations, with weights from 1 through 480. |
| Apply the interest adjustment |
Let
P
represent the weighted premium and
I
the interest component for that funding interval. Calculate
P + clamp(I - P, -0.05%, +0.05%)
. Here,
clamp
holds its first value between the stated lower and upper bounds.
|
| Apply the contract's rate caps | Constrain the result to the contract's applicable lower and upper funding rates. USDT perpetual contracts can use margin-based or fixed caps; Deepcoin can revise limits during extreme market conditions. |
For USDT Perpetual Pro contracts, the guide allocates a 0.03% starting interest setting across the day's settlement intervals. Its eight-hour configuration uses an interest component of 0.01% per interval. Deepcoin can adjust this setting with market interest rates.
Later premium observations carry more weight, so an equally large move nearer settlement has greater influence on the average. When
I - P
stays between -0.05% and +0.05%, the calculation simplifies to
I
before final caps. Those bounds limit the adjustment to 0.05 percentage points in either direction. Outside them, the premium can push the rate away from the interest component.
Final caps for USDT perpetual contracts
- Margin-based caps
-
Upper cap:
0.75 * (initial_margin_rate - maintenance_margin_rate). The lower cap is the negative of that amount. - Fixed caps
- The guide lists lower and upper limits of -2% and +2%, or -3% and +3%, for contracts using fixed caps.
Under the margin-based rule, a wider gap between initial and maintenance margin rates permits a wider funding range.
Settlement timing and the margin debit
The displayed rate generally refreshes every minute, although refresh mechanisms can vary across pairs. Deepcoin applies the most recently calculated rate for that scheduled settlement; an earlier display does not lock the charge.
Fully closing a position before its scheduled settlement excludes it from that cycle. The platform-wide settlement process may take up to one minute, depending on position sizes and system load. During that window, the system may include a newly opened position or exclude one closed before its processing finishes. Activity just after the scheduled second therefore does not guarantee participation or exclusion.
Deepcoin deducts payable funding from position margin. If the margin balance cannot cover the charge, the deduction may trigger liquidation. Brief order delays can also occur around settlement while the system processes funding.
Trading, funding and withdrawal records
Contract Info shows market funding history; the contract account's History view records funding actually paid or received. Its Funding Fee filter isolates these transfers for the selected account type. A historical market rate describes the pair, while the account entry establishes the actual debit or credit. Trade execution records separately identify the maker or taker role, trading fee and fee currency. Account bills distinguish copy-trading profit sharing from transaction and funding fees. For on-chain withdrawals, Deepcoin's withdrawal configuration supplies the fee for the selected coin and network. Withdrawal history records the withdrawal amount and fee.
